Good cup of coffee with abuelita

I remember that all the houses in Puerto Rico at 5 o’clock there is a huge aroma of coffee in all the neighborhoods!

Sitting by the balcony with soda crackers and cheddar cheese, watching the sunset where you feel the ocean and mountain breeze, chillaxing from supper.

Abuelita will give an extra treat for the young

Serving a plate of bowl filling coffee with milk

And soda crackers with butter

Which we mixed and crushed with a spoon and eat it as a cereal!

The delicious simple things that are the greatest in our memories.

Just a simple cup of coffee! ☕️
