Ever since I moved to the TRI Cities, finding the authentic flavors of my Puerto Rican heritage has been quite a journey. It felt like a scavenger hunt, searching for the ingredients that would recreate the traditional dishes I grew up with. As a lover of ethnic and international cuisine, I began perfecting my cooking skills during the pandemic, and one day, I was amazed to discover that a dish I prepared tasted just like the ones my dear grandma used to make.

The reactions from my husband's co-workers and friends were priceless. They were captivated by the rich flavors and textures of my food, and many encouraged me to turn my passion into a business. Inspired by their enthusiasm and the love for Puerto Rican cuisine, I decided to take the first step: offering a delivery option to the wonderful communities of Johnson City and Jonesborough. Now I am at the Johnson City area with my food truck! 

But my journey doesn't end there. My dream is to become the proud owner of a Puerto Rican-Spain Bakery, where I can bring the essence of My Abuela's Kitchen to even more people.
